Besides the active shareholders, Kingstreet has an own task-force with different specialists for the different functions in the company. These task-force manager have long experiecne in their functions and make sure that agreed plans are realized in a quick and efficient way.
As managing partner of Kingstreet Industries, Sven Dübbers is responsible for the acquisition of companies as well as the operative support and further development of the investments.
Sven Dübbers studied industrial engineering and management at the Technical University of Berlin and graduated with a Dipl.-Ing. degree.
Already during his studies, Sven Dübbers dealt intensively with the topic of corporate restructuring and M&A, working on numerous restructuring reports for the Treuhandanstalt before moving to the finance department of Procter&Gamble's European headquarters. After gaining experience in a large international group, he returned to the German Mittelstand. Here, as a consultant and interim manager, he again dealt intensively with corporate restructurings. Before he himself became more and more active as an investor, Sven Dübbers worked for a listed private equity investor in the field of turnaraound.
He can look back on numerous successful restructuring processes under his leadership, including Burmester Audiosysteme, Westfalia Reisemobile, Schleicher Electronic and Sinterwerke.
As managing partner of Kingstreet Industries, Andreas Romey supervises the legal aspects of all participation processes.
Andreas Romey is included in all investment decisions made by the Kingstreet Industries team. He and his team of legal practitioners facilitate any process of restructuring and/or reorganization that may be necessary at the respective holdings.
Andreas Romey is a partner in the law firm RNI Legal, specialising in insolvency, restructuring and corporate law.
During his time as a solicitor for the Berlin-based legal and notary practice Grawert Schöning and Partners (1999 - 2001), for the legal/auditing/tax consultancy Johlke Niethammer & Partners in Hamburg (2002 – 2005), and for Eckert Solicitors and Liquidators in Hamburg and Hannover (2005 – 2008), Mr. Romey reorganised and restructured numerous SMEs in the manufacturing, trade and services sectors and/or facilitated the subsequent selling process. Mr. Romey studied law and business administration at the Universities of Tübingen and Hamburg. He frequently gives lectures on the laws governing insolvency and restructuring.
